Sirinimal Perera is currently the Secretary to the Ministry of Urban Development & Housing.

He is a veteran in the finance industry with over 30 years of experience and has held many leadership positions in the financial services landscape, both in Sri Lanka and overseas. Perera’s areas of expertise include financial management, accounting, internal auditing, and general management. His wealth of experience is also inclusive of a stint with M/s. R.K. Fryer & Co. Chartered Accountants, the United Kingdom where he served as Audit Senior.

A man of many hats, Perera has functioned as Urban Development Authority (UDA) Chairman and its subsidiaries: Lanka Logistics & Technologies Co. Ltd., On’ally Co. Ltd., Unidep Company, Waters Edge Company Ltd., Lanka Salt Limited. He steered Sri Lanka Fisheries Corporation as the Managing Director.
Perera has also served on the Board of Directors at Peoples Leasing Co. Ltd., Ocean View Co. Ltd., and Lanka Ceramic Limited in addition to several other companies.

Prior to that, Perera was Executive Consultant to the Board of Directors of Noritake Lanka Porcelain (Pvt) Ltd., (“Noritake”) and the Chairman of Shore to Shore (Pvt) Ltd.

With strong academic training in finance, Perera has completed the final level of Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) (UK) and holds a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies from Luton College of Higher Technology, UK.

He was awarded the title of ‘Best Chief Executive’ for the best Employee in involvement Organization by the Sri Lanka Association of the Advancement of Quality and Productivity, an entity that functions under the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Athula Kumara is currently the Department of Public Enterprises Director-General and has over two decades of experience in the public service services sector.\
Having started his career in the field at the Auditor General’s Department as an Audit Examiner he went on to join the Department of Public Enterprises of the Ministry of Finance where he held several key positions.

Kumara has also served as a Director and Board Member of Several Statutory Institutions including Colombo Commercial Fertilizer, Mantai Salt Ltd., Building Material Corporation, Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd., Lanka Hydraulic Ltd., Ceylon Ceramics Corporation.

In addition to the wealth of experience, Kumara has a strong flair in Accounting, Financial Management, Strategic Planning, and Risk Management from the knowledge gathered via foreign training, reputed international institutions, and universities.

Kumara holds a Bachelor of Science in Management – Public Administration from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura, and a Masters of Business Studies from the University of Colombo.

Kumara is a Class 1 Officer of the Sri Lanka Accountants’ Services and is a member of Chartered Public Accountant at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, London.

Visakha Amarasekere counts over 15 years of experience at the Government Treasury where she served as a Director of the General Treasury Department of External Resources of the Ministry of Finance, Economy, and Policy Development.

She was appointed as the representative of the Finance Ministry on the Board of Directors of state-owned Bank of Ceylon (BoC) where she occupied the seat of Ex-Officio Non-Executive Director.

Amarasekere has represented the Government Treasury on the Boards of several key State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) including the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), and People’s Bank.

Amarasekere holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Economics and Management from the University of London, UK, and a Master of Arts in Development Economics from Vanderbilt University, USA.

She is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK, and is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant.

Rohan Fernandopulle is at present the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Waters Edge Ltd – a MICE property with extensive F & B services under the purview of the Urban Development Authority.

Prior to his appointment at Waters Edge, Fernandopulle served as the General Manager Cinnamon Lakeside, Vice President F&B Initiatives Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Chief Operating Officer Galle Face Hotels Group, General Manager Waters Edge, and Executive Chef Hilton Colombo
.
Fernandopulle is a renowned and illustrious chef with over 40 years of experience, both local and international under his belt.He has been successful in bringing Sri Lankan cuisine under the international spotlight by competing in various global Culinary Competitions where he won several prestigious awards for his culinary expertise.Fernandopulle was also the first Sri Lankan to become Executive Chef at the Hilton Colombo.

He is also a proud recipient of the Hotelier of the year in Sri Lanka, awarded by the Hotel Supplier Magazine in 2018.

Udaya Kumara is a Director at the Department of Public Enterprises and has over 11 years of experience in the General Treasury where he has been actively involved in engaging with monitoring major State-Owned Enterprises.

He has served as a Board Member at various State-Owned Enterprises including Employees Trust Fund, Coconut Research Institute, Kurunegala Plantations Ltd, Sri Lanka Handicraft Board, and the Buddhasasana Fund among many others.

Kumara Master’s Degree in Financial Management, and Financial Economics. He has also completed a Capital Markets Program at George Washington University, the USA with an internship at the International Finance Corporation as a short-term consultant.

Furthermore, he is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and is a member of the Board of Management of the APFA, the Public Sector wing of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
